Night Run to Honour Nurses - Cape Town
The event is a 7 km night run organised by The Exceptional Nurse Campaign in partnership with Bramley and supported by Run/Walk for Life and Denosa. It takes place at Mouille Point Lighthouse in Cape Town on 19 September 2026. The run is family friendly, open to everyone, and aims to honour nurses while raising funds to train exceptional nurses.
The course is marked at each kilometre. As a night event, participants must use headlamps after dark and are advised to wear bright or high visibility clothing; plain black tops are discouraged. A water station is provided at the halfway mark only, so participants should carry personal water if needed. Dogs and bicycles are not permitted. Wheelchair users are asked to contact the organisers in advance to arrange participation. The cut off for the 7 km run is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Tickets are sold online via Quicket with categories and prices listed for adults, children and nursing personnel. Entries close on 18 September 2026 and are limited to 2 000 participants. Entry fees are non refundable unless an entry is rejected. Printed race tickets must be carried during the event.
Marshalls, traffic and security officials must be obeyed. Public parking is available at owners risk with security present. The organisers accept no responsibility for injury and the event takes place in an environmentally sensitive area where littering is not permitted. Proceeds support nurse training.
