New Hyde Park Mineola 8K Run/Walk
The New Hyde Park Mineola Runners Club holds its 48th annual 8K Run/Walk on September 13, 2026, at Clinton G. Martin Park, 1601 Marcus Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY. The event includes an 8K road race and a separate kids run.

Amenities listed for the event include championship tech shirts guaranteed for the first 300 participants, shirts for children, pre and post race refreshments, raffle prizes, and finishers medals guaranteed for the first 300 racers.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, top three men and women masters (40+), and top three men and women senior grand masters (60+). Additional awards include Clydesdale and Athena weight categories and top three men and women in standard age groups from 15–19 through 85+. The first three overall finishers also receive cash prizes and a complimentary entry for the 2027 race.
Registration fees are listed as $35 for the 8K and $10 for the kids run; registration opens in July and closes on race day. Bib pickup begins at 7AM on the day of the event and bib numbers are assigned at pickup by last name. Live same-day results and finish line photos are provided.
