Event overview
NewBo Run takes place in Cedar Rapids, IA, on Sept. 6, 2026. The event includes multiple race distances and awards for top finishers in the 10k and Half Marathon. All finishers receive a finishers medal. Registration is scheduled to open in spring 2026. No race-day registration is available.

Logistics and services
Packet pickup is at NewBo City Market, 1100 3rd St. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA, with scheduled pickup times on Saturday, August 30, 2025 (10 a.m. - 1 p.m.) and Sunday, August 31, 2025 (6-7 a.m. only). The course includes nine water stops; Gatorade will be provided at every other stop beginning with the second station. Race-day photos are available. Volunteer opportunities are offered.
Awards and certification
Age-group awards are presented to the top two male and female finishers in each age group for both the 10k and Half Marathon. Overall top male and female finishers in each of those races receive unique hand-crafted trophies. Age groups listed include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
