NewBo Run - Cedar Rapids
NewBo Run is scheduled for Sept. 6, 2026, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The event includes a half marathon and a 10k-ish distance. All finishers receive a medal. Course maps are provided for both the half marathon and the 10k-ish.
Packet pickup takes place at NewBo City Market, 1100 3rd St. SE, Cedar Rapids. Packet pickup sessions are listed for Saturday, September 5, 2026, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., and Sunday, September 6, 2026, 6-7 a.m. Only pre-registered participants are accepted on race day; there is no race-day registration.
Hydration support is available on the course with nine water stops. Gatorade is provided at every other stop, beginning with the second stop. Volunteers support race operations and aid stations.
Age-group awards are presented for both the half marathon and the 10k-ish. Top two male and female finishers in each age group receive hand-crafted awards, and top overall male and female finishers in each distance receive a unique hand-crafted trophy. Award age groups include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
