Delta Dental New England Half Marathon
The event on October 18, 2026 is a Half Marathon held on a point to point, downhill course that begins at Gould Hill Farm in Contoocook and finishes at the New Hampshire State House in Concord. The start area is located at an apple orchard and the route runs along scenic country roads with fall foliage views. The course has a time limit of 3.5 hours.
Aid stations are located at approximately miles 2, 3.9, 6, 8.4, and 10.7; Gatorade is available at each aid station beginning at the 6 mile mark. Bathrooms are available at the start, with port-a-johns at each aid station and at the finish. Trash receptacles are provided at every aid station and at each mile marker; littering on course can result in disqualification.
Participant services include gear check at the start with transport to the finish, participant shuttles from the finish to the start for participants only, and a participant drop off area at Gould Hill Farm where drivers must drop and go. Finish line parking is available in downtown Concord; there is no parking at the start. Spectators are not allowed at the start but may follow the course by driving inbound toward Concord; designated parking areas for spectating include Harold Martin School and Concord Hospital.
Post race items include Dasani water, Powerade, bananas and grab and go snacks. Free digital race photos are posted a few business days after the event and finishers receive a finish line video link. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each five year age group, and finisher medals are distributed at the finish. A virtual participation option is offered with a deadline for submitting virtual results by the Monday following the race. The event lists Girls on the Run NH as the official charity partner. The first 1,200 registrants receive a performance fleece; the event package also includes a finisher medal, free race photos, and a finish line video.
