Delta Dental New England Half Marathon
The event on October 18, 2026 is a half marathon held in central New Hampshire, running from Gould Hill Farm in Contoocook to the New Hampshire State House in Concord. The course is a unique point-to-point, downhill route on scenic country roads with views of fall foliage. A course time limit of 3.5 hours applies.
Aid stations are located at approximately the 2.0, 3.9, 6.0, 8.4, and 10.7 mile marks. Gatorade is provided at each stop beginning at the 6 mile mark and GU Energy chews are available near the 8.3 mile water stop. Bathrooms are available at the start, with port-a-johns at each aid station and at the finish. Trash receptacles are provided at every aid station and mile marker; littering on course may lead to disqualification.
Logistics note that there is no parking at the start and drivers must drop and go. Finish line parking is available in downtown Concord city lots; city parking is free on Sundays. Participant shuttles run from the finish to the start and only participants are allowed on shuttles. Gear checked at the start is transported by bus to the finish for pick up. Spectators are not allowed at the start but may follow the course by car; designated spectator parking areas include Harold Martin School and Concord Hospital.
Post race refreshments include Dasani water, Powerade, bananas and grab and go snacks. Finishers receive a medal at the finish line. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each five year age group and must be claimed at the Awards Tent. Free digital race photos are posted online a few business days after the event and finishers receive a finish line video link shortly after the race.
A virtual option is available through the Monday following the event. Virtual participants may have bibs, apparel and medals mailed or picked up during early bib pickup; virtual registrants earn miles toward the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket but do not receive Delta Dental Points Chase points.
