Delta Dental New England Half Marathon
The event is a half marathon with a point-to-point course from Gould Hill Farm in Contoocook to the New Hampshire State House in Concord. The route is described as a downhill course that runs on scenic country roads. Gould Hill Farm is a New Hampshire apple orchard offering views of fall foliage.
The course has a time limit of 3.5 hours. Aid stations are located at approximately miles 2, 3.9, 6, 8.4, and 10.7, providing water and Gatorade. GU Energy chews are available at the 8.3-mile mark. Port-a-johns are located at each aid station and the finish. A gear check service is offered, transporting bags from the start to the finish.
Parking is available in downtown Concord, and free participant shuttles run from the finish line to the start between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM on race day. There is no parking at the start. Post-race refreshments include Dasani water, Powerade, bananas, and other grab-and-go snacks.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each five-year age group. All finishers receive a medal. Registration includes a performance fleece for the first 1,200 registrants, free digital race photos, and a finisher video.
A virtual race option is available where participants can run their distance anytime before a set deadline and submit results online. The event's charity partner for 2026 is Girls on the Run NH. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
