Event

The New Ash Green 10KM 2026 is a 10 km running event organised by Run Happy Run Healthy at New Ash Green Pavilion in Longfield, Kent on 1 January 2026. Entry is via LetsDoThis, and some on-the-day entries will be available for £30. The organiser states they will donate to local children’s charities. The organiser describes the route as fast and flat for the first 6 km with support along the course.

Course and logistics

The course starts and finishes at the pavilion and follows local roads: Ash Road, Redhill Road, N Ash Road, Church Road, Grange Lane, Hartley Bottom Road, Hartley Hill, Chapel Wood Road and Butlers Place, returning to the pavilion. The route includes a long downhill section through the first kilometre and reaches the 7 km point after a climb at Hartley Hill; the 9 km point passes the Royal Oak pub.

On the day, race numbers are collected inside the pavilion registration room; runners will be emailed a race number beforehand and may provide this or their name at registration. There are changing facilities and showers, refreshments inside the pavilion, marshals at major junctions and outriders (support cyclists) on the route. Roads are not closed, so runners are asked to keep to the left. All finishers receive a medal, a snack and water. Photos and videos will be taken; an opt-out disclaimer is available. Official times will be posted on the organiser’s website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
