Event details
The New Ash Green 10KM 2026 is a running event on January 1, 2026 at New Ash Green Pavillion, Punchcroft, Longfield, Kent. The race distance is 10 km. The event is organised by Run Happy Run Healthy and will include donations to local children’s charities. Official times and results will be posted on the organiser’s website by the end of 1 January.
Course and race day information
The route starts and finishes at the pavilion and uses local roads including Ash Road, Redhill Road, North Ash Road, Church Road, Grange Lane, Hartley Bottom Road, Hartley Hill, Chapel Wood Road and Butlers Place. The first 6 km is described as flat with a downhill section around 1 km and several downhill and uphill sections later in the course. Marshals will be positioned at major junctions and there will be outriders (cyclists) supporting runners. Roads are not closed for the race, so participants are asked to keep to the left.
Race numbers are collected inside the registration room at the pavilion; runners will be emailed a race number and may provide that or a name at registration. Changing facilities, showers and refreshments are available at the pavilion. Some entries will be available on the day for £30. All finishers receive a medal, a snack and water.
