New Ash Green 10KM 2027
The event is a local 10 km road race held from New Ash Green Pavilion in Longfield, Kent on 1 January 2027. The course follows village and country roads and returns to the pavilion for the finish.
The route starts at the pavilion and follows Ash Road onto Redhill Road with a long downhill through the first kilometre, then turns left into North Ash Road. The course passes Spring Cross at about 2 km, then Manor Forstal and Knights Croft before returning to Ash Road at 3 km. Runners continue down Church Road to the junction with Grange Lane just past 4 km, then down Grange Lane toward Hartley Bottom Road. The route passes 6 km before a right turn toward Hartley Hill, climbs to the 7 km mark and rejoins Church Road. At around 8 km the route turns toward the main roundabout and then along Chapel Wood Road, passes the 9 km marker and the Royal Oak pub, then turns into Butlers Place back to the pavilion.
On race day race numbers are collected inside the pavilion and are emailed beforehand. Changing facilities and showers are available. Marshals are positioned at major junctions and outriders will support runners on the route. Roads are not closed so runners should keep to the left. Refreshments are available in the pavilion. All finishers receive a bespoke medal, a snack and water. Photos and videos will be taken with an opt out option. Official times will be posted by the end of 1 January on the organiser website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
