NE MS Line of Duty Memorial Race
The Northeast Mississippi Line of Duty Memorial Race is scheduled in Amory, Mississippi, from May 15 to May 22, 2027, centered at 105 2nd Ave S. The event week includes multiple ways to participate: a community 5K run or walk, an interactive short challenge, a virtual 5K option, and a t-shirt order option.

The 5K route travels through the heart of Amory and passes memorial displays that honor officers who died in the line of duty. The event is presented during National Police Week and is intended for runners, walkers, families, and community supporters. The Be the Badge Challenge is an untimed, interactive quarter-mile course around Frisco Park with bodyweight stations and a final farmer’s carry; completion certificates are provided. Participants registered for the 5K may join the challenge at no additional cost.
Proceeds support memorial efforts and fund scholarships that enable officers from resource-limited departments to attend survival and advanced training classes at the Monroe County Training Center. Awards will be given to top finishers by age group for both men and women, and overall male and female winners will be recognized. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
