Nairn 10k : event information

Nairn 10k is scheduled for 1 March 2026 in Nairn, Scotland. The race starts and finishes on Nairn High Street, which is closed to traffic for the event. The rest of the course is an SAF measured route that leaves the town and returns with few turns, finishing on the main High Street under the Town Clock. There is one water station on the 10k route at approximately 7.25 km.

Entry fees are listed as £20 for non-affiliated runners and £18 for Scottish Athletics affiliated runners. Members of Scottish Athletics, British Athletics/UKA, and Welsh Athletics are eligible for the discounted fee by supplying their membership number during registration. Registration for race numbers takes place at Nairn Community Centre from 13:00 to 14:00 on race day. General registration closes 28 February 2026 at 23:59. The event listing shows 320 remaining places for the 10k.

Safety notes state the race mainly takes place on roads that remain open to traffic, so runners are responsible for their own safety and must obey marshals. The use of headphones is not permitted except bone conducting headphones. Minimum age for the 10k is 16. Each 10k finisher will receive a medal. Prizes sponsored by Nairn Road Runners are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to age group winners.
