Nacogdoches Half Marathon
The Nacogdoches Half Marathon takes place in Texas, offering participants a route through the scenic and historic areas of the town. The course includes sections through the Stephen F. Austin University Campus, providing a variety of local sights during the race.
The event features two distinct running distances:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 3.1 Miles (5K Run)
The start line is located downtown at 138 N Mound Street, near the Fredonia Brewery. Participants have access to several parking locations in the immediate vicinity, including the Regions Bank downtown, the public parking area across from Goodwill, TJR Elementary, and the Fredonia Hotel parking lot.
This event supports a local cause, with proceeds benefiting NAC FOSTER RESCUE. This organization focuses on the rescue of dogs in Nacogdoches and the surrounding regions, placing them in foster homes until they are ready for adoption.
Packet pickup is organized at the Fredonia Brewery on the Friday preceding the race, as well as at the start line on the morning of the event. Organizers allow for third-party packet collection if a runner is unable to attend in person. While event shirts are provided, preferred sizes are not guaranteed for registrations made after late February. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
