Mykonos Half Marathon
The Mykonos Half Marathon is a running event at Club Mykonos Resort in Langebaan, Western Cape on 25 July 2026. It offers three distances: a half marathon and shorter road events, with limited entry numbers for each distance and official race regulations.
Race distances:
- 21.1 km half marathon
- 10 km road race
- 5 km funrun
The event follows athletics federation rules. Minimum ages apply: 16 years for the half marathon and 14 years for the 10 km; juniors have specific category tags. Licensed athletes must wear club colours and their licence numbers as required. Temporary licences are available for non club athletes for specified fees. Cut off times are enforced and refreshment stations are provided along the longer routes; the half marathon has multiple refreshment stations while the 10 km has two.
Logistics include pre entry for the 21 km and 10 km with limited field sizes (21 km and 10 km each capped at 750 entries; 5 km capped at 500). A limited number of race T shirts will be offered for purchase with online orders closing on a specified date. All finishers receive medals. Additional on site amenities listed by the organiser include parking, food stalls, a children entertainment area, a market area, restaurants and prize draws.
