Event Overview
The Muscogee Nation Festival 5K takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. The event features both an in-person and a virtual 5K run.
Registration and Details
Participants for the in-person 5K can register on race day, with a higher fee applied. A Fun Run/Walk also occurs shortly after the 5K start, with registration available only on race day. Packet pick-up for the in-person race is held east of the Mound Building on the morning of the event, with an additional pre-registration pick-up option on the Friday prior at the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Mound Building's East Lobby.
Awards include a $250 cash prize for the overall male and female winners of the 5K, with additional prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in various age divisions. The first 350 in-person registrants receive a commemorative technical t-shirt. Timing for the 5K is provided by Tatur Racing.
Virtual Option
A virtual 5K option is available, with registration limited to 100 participants. Virtual registrants will receive a commemorative tech tee and a medal by mail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
