About the race
The Volksbank‑Münster‑Marathon is scheduled for 12 September 2027 in Münster. The event is organised by Münster‑Marathon e.V. and comprises a programme with several competitive and mass‑participation races, associated community activities and media coverage.

The organiser runs preparation activities. "MüMa on Tour 2026" offered free training runs of about 20 to 30 km across nine weekends, starting 12 July in Appelhülsen and Bad Westerkotten. The event also reported a charity action in which children raised €2,030, later increased to €2,500 for a children's project at the University Hospital Münster.
