Event overview
The Muddy Dash in Salt Lake City is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden, Utah (1000 N 1200 W). The course is a few miles long and includes about a dozen "Muddy Moments" where participants run, walk, crawl, wade, slip or slide through mud pits that are no deeper than waist-deep. The event is non-competitive and is not timed. Costumes are welcomed.
Practical details
Packet pickup is available at the venue on July 10 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; race-day packet pickup may incur a $5 cash fee per packet. Parking at the venue may include a cash-only charge of up to $20. Bag check is offered for a $5 fee, paid at the event. Registration offers two tiers: a Value option that includes a race bib, finisher medal, post-race party and access to the course; and a VIP option that adds event apparel and branded items. Early waves fill up quickly; teams can register to be placed in the same wave. Spectator admission is free. A festival area will follow the race with music and competitions.
