MTC Shamrock

The MTC Shamrock is a 50-mile ultra marathon held in Ireland, starting at the Cliff House Hotel in Ballybunion and finishing at the Limerick City Hotel. It forms Day 4 of the MizMal® series, a 14-day end-to-end challenge across Ireland. The route largely follows the MizMal® cycling path along the Wild Atlantic Way, offering scenic coastal and inland terrain with a total ascent of about 1,550 feet.

The event is limited to 40 runners, including MizMal® participants, and enforces a minimum pace of 4 mph. Finishers receive a bespoke Shamrock medal, with optional race apparel available.
