MTC Selkie

The MTC SELKIE is a challenging 43-mile ultra marathon held in Scotland, forming Day 8 of the nine-day Mount to Coast SCOTIA End to End Challenge. The race starts at the Eagle Hotel in Dornoch and finishes in Dunbeath, featuring a route with approximately 3,880 feet of ascent and 3,743 feet of descent. Limited to 40 participants, including SCOTIA competitors, the event demands a minimum pace of 4 mph with cut-off times at checkpoints.

Runners must carry mandatory gear for safety and navigation. Finishers receive a bespoke Selkie medal, with trophies awarded to male and female champions.
