MTC Boggle
The MTC Boggle is a single day Mount to Coast ultra that covers approximately 39.4 miles. It is run on the same route used by the MTC JOGLE event with reduced daily distances and serves as Day 8 of the MTC ALBION thirteen day end to end of England. The course starts at The Tudor House Hotel, GL20 5BH and finishes at Travelodge Bristol Filton, BS34 5GN.
Field size is limited to 20 independent entries with an additional allowance of 20 places for ALBION competitors, giving a maximum of 40 starters. Entry options include a standard ultra entry priced at £90.00 and a race package at £155.00 that includes an embroidered race shirt and a lightweight hi vis jacket; the clothing package must be purchased at least four weeks before the event. All payments are non refundable, and entrants may choose optional personal cancellation insurance at checkout.
The race has preset cut off points based on a minimum average of 4 mph. Falling below this minimum may result in withdrawal. Entrants must carry mandatory kit such as a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone and a basic first aid kit. URL provides competitor tracking devices with SOS capability. The event is cup free and all finishers receive a bespoke Boggle medal; trophies for male and female champions are in development.
