About the race
The Mount to Coast Boggle is a single-day ultra run listed at approximately 39 miles and presented as Day 8 of the MTC Albion end-to-end of England. The event uses the same corridor as the MTC JOGLE route but with reduced daily distances and sits within the Mount to Coast End to End challenge series.
The course runs from the Tudor House Hotel to Travelodge Bristol Filton and includes pre-determined check points at roughly 8.8 miles, 18.2 miles, and 28.5 miles, finishing at about 39.4 miles. Organisers provide entrants with route maps and GPX files by email prior to the event and issue individual tracking devices with real-time tracking and an SOS function.
Entry is limited to 20 competitors plus an additional allowance of 20 Albion entrants (maximum 40). The basic entry fee and an upgraded package with a race shirt and hi-vis jacket are listed; all deposits and payments are non-refundable unless a purchased personal cancellation insurance option applies. The event is cup-free; competitors should bring a reusable cup.
The race enforces a minimum average pace of 4.0 mph; participants who fall below this threshold may be withdrawn. Mandatory kit requirements include a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and emergency food.
