MPSG Life After Loss 5K and Fun Run
This event in October at Mason Park in Houston honors Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. It offers in-person and virtual options designed for remembrance, community support, and fundraising for Missing Pieces Support Group.
Available distances include:
- 5K - chip-timed on a certified 3.1-mile course
- 1K - non-timed family friendly fun run
- Virtual 5K - complete anytime during October, digital bib and mailed finisher medal
Participants are encouraged to wear pink and blue in recognition of the month. The in-person 5K includes chip-timed race results and a finisher medal; early registrants may receive a race t-shirt and a swag bag on a first come, first served basis. The 1K includes a participation bib, a finisher medal, access to food vendors, and a race t-shirt for registered participants.
Fundraising options allow participants to create personal fundraising pages. Raising $100 or more can trigger a refund of the registration fee and other incentives. Teams may be created at registration, and groups of three or more qualify for discounted registration pricing. Packet pickup details are to be announced.
