Move With MADD Southeast Texas 5K
The Move With MADD Southeast Texas event is Mothers Against Drunk Driving's signature fundraising event to raise awareness and funds to end impaired driving. It takes place at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, TX on November 14, 2026.
Event options include a timed 5K that is chip timed with live results, a 5K that allows participants to run with dogs, and an untimed Memory Mile walk. Timed 5K participants receive an individual results page with results, a pace breakdown, a finisher certificate and a 20 second video of crossing the start and finish lines.
Registration opens July 8, 2026 and closes November 13, 2026. Listed registration fees are $55 for the timed 5K, $15 for the dog 5K, and $35 for the untimed walk. Move With MADD T-shirts are available at the registration table; the deadline to register to receive a shirt is October 15, 2026 and remaining shirts are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
The event program includes a ceremony, awards and family activities. The Memory Mile walk follows the 5K start. The event is presented as part of MADD's community fundraising and remembrance efforts and carries the phrases We Walk. We Run.
