Cornerstone Orthopedic Institute Inaugural Motion Is Medicine 5K Run/Walk

Cornerstone Orthopedic Institute will hold its inaugural Motion Is Medicine Run/Walk in Edinburg, Texas, as part of Bone and Joint Action Week. The event is organized at 2402 Cornerstone Blvd and aims to promote joint friendly activity, prevention, and awareness of orthopedic conditions including trauma, spine diseases, arthritis, osteoporosis, and pediatric musculoskeletal conditions.

The event offers chip timing with live results, a finisher medal for all participants, an official race shirt, refreshments and a hydration station, DJ music, free race photos, a start and finish inflatable arch, an inspirational photo area, and local vendor booths. Awards include top male and top female overall and multiple age group awards for categories starting at 13 and under and extending to 70 and over.

Registration for the 5K and the 1 mile fun run/walk is free. There is a T shirt size deadline on September 19, 2026; participants registered after that date are not guaranteed their exact shirt size. Packet pickup is scheduled at Cornerstone Institute on the day before the event; participants must pick up race bibs and shirts during packet pickup.
