About the race
The Mother's Day Classic in Newman is a community walk and run held at the Newman Recreation Centre in support of breast and ovarian cancer research. The event follows a loop from the Recreation Centre along shared paths through local streets and parkland toward Mia Mia and back. The route is mostly flat and is suitable for walkers, runners, and prams. Event facilities are located at the Newman Recreation Centre.
On-site parking and accessible parking are available. Male and female toilets and accessible toilets are provided. Drinks and morning tea are offered at the event village.
Water is available along the course. Dogs on leash are permitted in all areas, including the course. The event is pram friendly and there is no official run timing on the day.
A raffle and other event activities take place as part of the programme. Registrations for this event have closed.
