Event Overview
The Moranbah Australia Day Triathlon is an annual multi-sport event held at the Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre in Moranbah, Queensland. Available Categories and Distances
Participants can choose from several formats based on their age group and preferred disciplines:
- Long Course (Ages 16+): 600m swim, 20km cycle, and 5km run.
- Aquabike (Ages 16+): 600m swim and 20km cycle.
- Aquathon (Ages 16+): 600m swim and 5km run.
- Duathlon (Ages 16+): 2.5km run, 22km cycle, and 5km run.
- Teams (Ages 12+): 600m swim, 22km cycle, and 5km run.
- Enticer (Ages 12+): 300m swim, 12km cycle, and 2.5km run.
- Mini Kids (Ages 7-12): 50m swim, 2km cycle, and 500m run or 50m swim and 500m run aquathon.
Event Details
The event provides prize money in each category. The first 100 individuals to register receive a complimentary event singlet, subject to size availability. Following the conclusion of the races, a presentation ceremony is held for winners alongside a complimentary breakfast for competitors.
