Moose Jaw Running Festival
The Moose Jaw Running Festival returns for 2026, presented by Golden West Trailer & Equipment, after raising a record amount for the Moose Jaw Health Foundation last spring. The event takes place over the weekend of June 13 and 14, 2026, and includes activities across two days.
Offered distances:
- Runt Run: 200 metres for youth under 10; t-shirt and medal.
- 5KM: run or walk; t-shirt and medal.
- 10KM: run or walk; t-shirt and medal.
- 21.1KM Half-Marathon: run; t-shirt and medal.
On Saturday, June 13 there is a Beer Mile presented by District Brewing in Wakamow Valley. Participants run a mile while drinking two beers at designated stops; all finishers receive a commemorative pint glass.
Registration opens March 13 with special discount pricing. Last year more than 325 runners participated and $15,004 was raised for the Moose Jaw Health Foundation. Proceeds for 2026 will go to pediatric rehabilitation equipment at the Health Foundation.
Package pick-up is scheduled for June 13 at a location to be announced and on June 14 at the start/finish area on Fairford St, just east of Main Street in downtown (beside Clothes Encounter). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
