Moor Park 10 and More
This annual event supports Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and is held for the 25th year. It offers a mix of runs and walks including a 10k race, junior fun runs and a 5k March for Mount Vernon walk.
The 10k is a closed-road, UKA, chip-timed race. The event takes place across the grounds of Merchant Taylors’ School, Moor Park Golf Course and the Moor Park estate in Rickmansworth HA6 2HT.
Distances on offer include:
- 10k run - closed-road, UKA, chip-timed
- 5k walk - March for Mount Vernon
- 3.9 km junior run - school years 8 to 10
- 2.6 km junior run - school years 6 and 7
- 1.3 km junior run - school years 3 to 5
- 850 m junior run - school years 2 and under
All profits raised go towards supporting the work of Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, including the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre. Event finishers across the 10k, 5k and junior runs receive a medal and a free event t-shirt while stock lasts. Free parking is available at Merchant Taylors' School.
