About the race
Monte Rosa WalserWaeg by UTMB is a series of trail races held in the Aosta Valley in the Italian Alps. The routes run through alpine terrain between the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa and pass historic mountain paths, local communities and villages with longstanding traditions. The event includes multiple race distances with significant elevation gain: - 120 km - 8200 m+ - 82 km - 6300 m+ - 43 km - 3100 m+ - 35 km - 1800 m+ - 15 km - 650 m+ - 9 km - 600 m+ - 4 km Some races are included in UTMB World Series categories and are assigned Running Stones values. The organiser provides information for runners, supporters, volunteers, partners and press.
