About the race
The Raiffeisen Montafon Arlberg Marathon on 26 June 2027 is a mountain trail event that runs from St. Anton am Arlberg in Tirol to Silbertal in Vorarlberg. The classic marathon covers 42.195 km with about 1,250 m of elevation gain through the European protected area Verwall.
The route follows natural forest and alpine tracks and crosses the Winterjöchle, offering sections past waterfalls, mountain lakes and old mountain woods. The event presents several route options and formats for different ages and interests.
- Marathon: 42.195 km, 1,250 m elevation, St. Anton am Arlberg to Silbertal
- T33 Trail: 33 km, 1,150 m, St. Anton am Arlberg to Silbertal
- Panoramatrail: 17 km, 650 m, start and finish Silbertal
- Wandererlebnis: 33 km, 1,150 m, St. Anton am Arlberg to Silbertal
- Kindertrail: 580 m to 1.2 km, different age classes, start and finish Silbertal
