Monster of Mazinaw Trail Race 2026
Monster of Mazinaw Trail Race takes place at Bon Echo Provincial Park in Cloyne, Ontario on September 19, 2026. The event offers courses across varied terrain from wide groomed trails to technical rocky single track. Large parts of the 30k and 43k routes run on back-country trails with rocks, roots and steep ascents and descents; these sections can be slippery when wet.

- 43 km trail
- 30 km trail
- 10 km trail (course may be closer to 11 km)
Runners should be prepared to be self reliant on some stretches and to travel 12 to 14 km without aid, and possibly up to 17 km between aid stations. Aid stations will provide water, electrolyte drink, PB & J and sweet and salty snacks. The races are cup-less so participants must bring a collapsible cup or bottle. Registration includes a race tee, bib, a custom finisher medal for finishers, and food and drinks at aid stations. Park admission is not included in the race fee.
Entry is capped at 250 participants. Organizers list partnerships with footwear and nutrition vendors who will supply demos and gels; the gels provided contain maple syrup, tahini, sea salt and rowanberry extract.
