The Monster of Mazinaw Trail Race takes place on September 19, 2026, at Bon Echo Provincial Park in Cloyne, Ontario. The event offers these distances:

The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and is limited to 250 participants. Registration fees include a race tee, race bib, custom finisher's medal for finishers, and food and drinks at aid stations. Park admission is not included in the race fee; participants arriving on race day must pay park day-use fees. Camping reservations at Bon Echo open five months before the race and the park offers tent camping, yurts, and roofed accommodations.
Course and race logistics
Courses cover a mix of wide groomed trails and technical single-track with rocky sections, roots, and steep ascents and descents. A back-country section requires self-reliance and may leave runners without aid for about 12-14 km, and in some places aid stations may be up to 17 km apart. Runners should be prepared to carry water and food; the race is cup-less so participants must bring a collapsible cup or bottles. GPX files from the 2025 event are provided for reference and the 2026 route will be similar in route, elevation, and terrain. An overall time limit of eight hours is in place for the longer courses.
