Event overview
Molly's Miles is a mid-Missouri running event held on April 25, 2026, at Molly Bowden Memorial Park, 900 W. Nifong Blvd., Columbia, MO. The event benefits the Missouri Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) and is presented by Fleet Feet Columbia. The 2026 edition is billed as the 10th anniversary.
Distances
- 5K - 3.1 miles; includes chip-timed bib, participant shirt, finisher medal, swag bag.
- 10K - 6.2 miles; includes chip-timed bib, participant shirt, finisher medal, swag bag.
- Virtual - run or walk at a preferred location; includes finisher medal only.
Race features, course, and logistics
The event uses chip timing and live results managed by Big River Race Management and is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. All finishers receive a commemorative medal and participants receive a long-sleeve dry-fit shirt. Awards are given to the top three in each age group for the 5K and 10K, and to first overall male and female in each distance. The course starts and finishes at Molly Bowden Memorial Park, is described as relatively flat through urban and residential areas of south Columbia, and includes two hydration stations and the Memorial Mile with signs and flags honoring fallen law enforcement officers. Packet pickup is at Fleet Feet Columbia. Free parking is available on a first-come basis at Woodrail Center and the Forum Boulevard Christian Church south lot. Free professional event photos will be available after the race on Facebook.
Rules and policies
Refunds are not available except for active military service. Entries are transferable between persons but not between events or years. Strollers must start at the rear; dogs are discouraged on course; roller blades are not allowed; race numbers are required. Use of audio devices is discouraged for safety.
