Mojave Run the Runway 5K - Mojave CA
The event is a Halloween themed 5K held at the Mojave Fitness Center on the Mojave Airport runway. The course uses a historic three mile long runway and passes an area associated with military and aerospace activity. The event is organized by Mojave Fitness Center and lists Mojave Air And Space Port and Elevation Health among its sponsors.
The race is open to all ages; children under 11 register for free and participants 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The event is limited to a maximum of 150 racers and is scheduled to take place regardless of weather. Registration is non refundable.
Race operations note that timing chips are not provided; a finishing timer clock will be at the finish line and the race clock will start with the first corral. Race packets and bibs are available for pickup before race day and on race day at the fitness center. Restrooms are located inside the fitness center. Parking is available on the paved spaces south of the fitness center. The fitness center also offers group classes and personal training as preparation options. Pets are not allowed.
