Mojave Run the Runway 5K - Mojave, CA
The Mojave Run the Runway 5K is a Halloween themed road race held on October 10, 2026 at the Mojave Fitness Center and Mojave Airport in Mojave, California. The course uses the airport runway, a paved strip notable for its historical use by World War II fighter planes and modern aerospace vehicles including Virgin Galactic Unity and the Stratolaunch craft. The distance is 5K (approximately 3.1 miles).
Registration is limited to a maximum field of 150 racers. Children under 11 are admitted free, and youth 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is non-refundable. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine.
Race operations do not include individual timing chips; a finishing timer clock will be used at the finish and the race clock is started with the first corral. Race packets and bibs are available for pickup at the fitness center on the days before the event and on race day at the fitness center. Restrooms are located inside the fitness center. Parking is available in paved spaces on the south side of the fitness center.
