Event overview
The MMTA Crush Run takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Hurricane, West Virginia at Hurricane City Park and Meeks Mountain Trails (3511 WV-34). The event benefits the Meeks Mountain Trail Alliance and is listed as a Trail Sister Approved Race. Proceeds support development and maintenance of the Meeks Mountain Trails.

Course and logistics
All races begin and end at the Huntington Federal Shelter at the back of the bowl, about a 15-minute walk from the park parking area. Courses run on hand-built, single-track trails with rocks, roots, and rolling terrain. To reach the start/finish area participants cross an active set of train tracks; the crossing will be marked and monitored by safety volunteers. Bathrooms are available in the park and portable restrooms will be at the start/finish. Water and sports drinks are provided on course; the 5k has one aid station and the 10-miler has three aid stations. EMTs will be on call.
Entry, awards and other details
Registration is limited to 125 runners for the 10-miler and 125 for the 5k. There is a 3-hour time limit for the 10-miler. Registration fees vary by date; early pricing applies through November 30 and higher fees apply December 1 through February 5. There are no refunds or deferrals. Awards are given 1st–3rd overall male and female for the 10-miler and 5k, age-group awards, and prizes for two-person teams; team winners are not eligible for overall awards.
