MMTA Crush Run
The MMTA Crush Run takes place on February 6, 2027 at Hurricane City Park and Meeks Mountain Trails, 3511 WV-34, Hurricane, WV 25526, US. The event benefits the Meeks Mountain Trail Alliance and is Trail Sister Approved.

All courses begin and end at the Huntington Federal Shelter at the back of the bowl, a 15 minute walk from the park parking area. Each course uses hand-built single-track trails and includes rocks, roots, and rolling terrain. Participants will cross an active set of train tracks to reach the start and finish area; the crossing will be marked and monitored by safety volunteers. Plan for an extra 15 minutes to walk to the start/finish area. Bathrooms are available in the park and portable restrooms will be at the start/finish.
Aid and timing: the 10 mile race has a three hour time limit and three aid station visits; the 5K has one aid station. Water and sports drinks are provided on the course. EMTs will be on call.
Registration is limited to 125 runners for the 10 mile and 125 for the 5K; the kids' run has no limit. Early bird pricing through November 30 offers reduced fees; later fees apply December 1 through February 5. Registrations are final; there are no refunds. Discounts include a 15% military and first responder discount and a 10% discount for Meeks Mountain Trail Sustainers.
Awards include overall 1st through 3rd male and female for the 10 mile and 5K, two-person team awards, age group awards, and unique finisher awards for the kids' run. Volunteers are needed on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
