Hyundai Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks
The Hyundai Mitja Marató Barcelona by Brooks is an urban half marathon held in the city of Barcelona. The event features a course distance of 21.097 kilometers, which is fully urban and certified by the Catalan and Spanish Athletics Federations, as well as World Athletics. The race holds the World Athletics Gold Label distinction.
The event is open to participants who are at least 18 years old on the day of the race. The registration is limited to a maximum of 36,000 participants to ensure safety and quality. The course has a maximum official time limit of 2 hours and 45 minutes from the moment the last participant crosses the starting line.
Participants are organized into starting pens based on their registration times. Specifically, a Sub-Elite pen is available for runners who can provide proof of specific times achieved in official races within the last two years:

The event includes several services for runners, such as an official mobile app for live tracking, wardrobe services, and medical assistance located along the route and at the finish area. Liquid refreshment stations are situated approximately at kilometers 5, 10, 15, and 17.5, with both liquid and solid refreshments provided at the finish line.
Bib numbers and timing chips must be collected in person at the Expo Sports fair during the days preceding the race. No bibs are distributed on the day of the event.
