The Mississippi River Marathon takes place on February 7, 2026, with the start and finish area based in Greenville, MS. The point-to-point course runs from Lake Village, AR to Greenville, MS. Packet pick-up and a vendor expo are held at the E.E. Bass Cultural Arts Center, 323 S. Main St., Greenville.

Race details
The marathon course is USATF certified (course #MS16003MS) and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. There is a 7-hour course cut-off for the full marathon; full marathoners are advised to maintain about a 15-minute per mile pace to use race support. Bag check is available for the marathon and half marathon.
Aid stations are located at miles 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15.5, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25. GU nutrition will be provided at miles 7, 13, and 20. All finishers receive a medal; the Delta Double Down awards two medals. Post-race food and beverages are provided, and unlimited free race photo downloads are available.
Awards are offered for marathon and half marathon overall places, masters and grand masters, and detailed age-group placements. A cash bonus of $500 is available for any runner who breaks a marathon course record. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
