Mississippi River Marathon : event overview
The Mississippi River Marathon takes place on February 7, 2026, and runs from Lake Village, AR to Greenville, MS. The event uses 314 Washington Ave, Greenville, MS as an event address. Event formats include the following distances and race options:

Race details and support
Finishers receive a medal for all distances; the Delta Double Down earns two medals. The event includes a vendor expo and packet pick-up at the Leyser Gallery in Greenville. Bag check is available for the marathon and half marathon. Post-race food and beverages are provided, including hot pizza, Shipley’s donuts, and Doe’s Hot Tamales. Unlimited free race photo downloads are offered.
Aid stations are placed along the course at miles 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15.5, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25; GU nutrition is provided at miles 7, 13, and 20. The marathon course is USATF certified (#MS16003MS) and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The course cut-off is 7 hours. Awards are given for top overall finishers, masters and grand masters, and age-group places; relay divisions are awarded for male, female, and co-ed teams.
