The Mississippi River Marathon takes place on February 7, 2026, between Lake Village, AR and Greenville, MS. The event lists its Greenville address as 314 Washington Ave. Distances offered include:

A vendor expo and packet pick-up are scheduled on the day before the race, with additional packet pick-up available on race morning. Buses transport participants to the start in Lake Village for races that begin across the river.
Course and race features
The marathon course is USATF certified (MS16003MS) and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Aid stations are placed throughout the course at the following mile markers: 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15.5, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25. GU energy gel will be provided at miles 7, 13, and 20. Bag check is available for the marathon and half marathon. All finishers receive a medal; the Delta Double Down earns two medals. Post-race food includes pizza, Shipley’s donuts, and Doe’s Hot Tamales, and unlimited free race photo downloads are provided. The course has a 7-hour cut-off; full marathoners are advised to maintain about a 15-minute-per-mile pace to use race support. Prize competitors must follow a no-headphones policy to remain eligible for monetary awards. A $500 cash bonus is offered for anyone who breaks the marathon course record.
