MISH Waterfront Marathon

Event
The MISH Waterfront Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K takes place in Gladstone, Michigan on June 6, 2026. The event offers three distance options:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run
The courses are USATF certified and designated as Boston Qualifying routes. Official timing and fluid support operate for up to six hours. Walkers are welcome.
Course and logistics
Races start and finish at the Terrace Bay Hotel on the waterfront. The route follows the non-motorized pathway north along Little Bay de Noc and the Lake Michigan shoreline to VanCleve Park. 10K runners turn around at VanCleve Park and return to the hotel; half and full marathon runners continue through VanCleve Park, along a boardwalk and through the northern portion of Gladstone before returning on the pathway to the finish.
There are seven aid stations supplying water and Powerade spaced at approximately two-mile intervals. Packet pickup and on-site registration are available at the Terrace Bay Hotel, with packet pickup located in the hotel atrium. Post-race activities include refreshments, local craft beer, an awards ceremony and expo vendors.
