MISH Waterfront Marathon, Half & 10K : Gladstone, Michigan

The event offers three distances on waterfront courses that begin and end at the Terrace Bay Hotel on the shores of Lake Michigan. Routes follow the shores of Little Bay de Noc and run north along a non-motorized pathway and a scenic boardwalk through the northern portion of Gladstone. The 10K route turns around at VanCleve Park and returns to the Terrace Bay Hotel, while the half and full marathon continue beyond that point.

The courses are USATF certified and designated as Boston qualifying. A preliminary route map is provided and the route may change.

There are seven aid stations spaced at approximately two mile intervals supplying water and Powerade. Official timing and water stops are scheduled to end after six hours. Walkers are welcome. Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race and on race day at the Terrace Bay Hotel.

Participants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, race bib, Upper Peninsula craft beer, a breakfast burrito, and fruit. Post-race offerings include complimentary refreshments, an awards ceremony, and an expo with vendors. Lodging is available at the Terrace Bay Hotel, which features waterfront rooms, an indoor pool, and a full service restaurant.
