MISH Waterfront Marathon
The MISH Waterfront Marathon takes place in Gladstone, Michigan, with the race routes beginning and ending at the Terrace Bay Hotel. The courses follow the scenic shores of Little Bay de Noc on Lake Michigan. Participants utilize a non-motorized pathway and a boardwalk that passes through VanCleve Park and the northern portion of Gladstone.
The event offers the following race distances:
- 26.2 Miles (Full Marathon)
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 10 km (10K Run)
The marathon course is USATF Certified and serves as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Participants have a time limit of 6 hours, during which official timing and water stops remain active. Seven aid stations provided with water and Powerade are positioned approximately every 2 miles along the route. Walkers are permitted to participate in the event.
Registered runners receive a premium race shirt, a finisher medal, a race bib, and post-race refreshments. Following the races, an awards ceremony is held alongside an expo featuring various vendors. Refreshments include local craft beer provided by Freshwater Tavern.
