Event overview
The MISH Waterfront Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K takes place in Gladstone, Michigan on June 6, 2026. The race begins and ends at the Terrace Bay Hotel on the waterfront of Lake Michigan. The event offers three distances:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run
All courses are USATF certified and listed as Boston qualifying routes. Race entry includes a race shirt, finisher medal, race bib, and post-race refreshments.
Course and logistics
Routes follow the shores of Little Bay de Noc and the Lake Michigan shoreline. Runners proceed north along a non-motorized pathway and pass through VanCleve Park; 10K runners turn around at VanCleve Park and return to the Terrace Bay Hotel, while half and full marathon runners continue on a longer loop that includes a scenic boardwalk and the northern portion of Gladstone before returning along the pathway to the finish. There are seven aid stations with water and Powerade spaced at approximately every 2 miles. Official timing and water stops end after 6 hours. Packet pickup is handled at the Terrace Bay Hotel on the day before the race and on race day. The Terrace Bay Hotel offers waterfront rooms, an indoor pool, and a full-service restaurant.
