Miramichi Rock 'n Run Scott Bowes
The Miramichi Rock 'n Run Scott Bowes is a running event held in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Established in 2010, the race features a course that moves through downtown Chatham on Water Street and utilizes the city's new paved trail system. The terrain for the event is flat and offers views along the Miramichi River.
The event provides a variety of distances to accommodate different levels of participation:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km Family Run
- 100 m Toddler Run
The starting point is located at Waterford Green, 1809 Water St. in Chatham. For those unable to attend in person, virtual options are offered for the 5 km, 10 km, and Half Marathon distances. The event is also part of the RunNB Youth Series.
Cash prizes are available for the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers in the 5 km and Half Marathon categories.
