The Mini-Cassia Rescue Run is a community-focused athletic event held in Burley, Idaho. The primary objective of the event is to support the social mission of protecting the innocence of children globally. This mission is facilitated through a partnership with Wright Physical Therapy to bring awareness to the local community.
The event features a single distance for participants:
- 5K
All proceeds generated from the race are donated to Citizens Against Sexual Exploitation (C.A.S.E). The course is designed to be inclusive, as the event is both dog-friendly and stroller-friendly. Participants who register by specific early deadlines are provided with event t-shirts, though availability and specific sizing are not guaranteed for those who register later in the spring season.
In addition to the run, registered participants have access to specialized support. Wright Physical Therapy provides ten-minute injury assessments at no cost for runners experiencing aches, pains, or injuries related to their training or post-race recovery. These assessments can be scheduled through their office or online platform.
The event is held at 1945 Hiland Ave, and participant services such as packet pick-up and volunteer opportunities are organized by the event staff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
