The Mill Towns Race Series
The Mill Towns Race Series in Dundas, Minnesota, features chip timed road races on a flat, scenic, looping course along the Cannon River between Dundas and Northfield. The event centers on Memorial Park in Dundas, where parking, packet pickup, and pre and post race activities take place.
Distances offered:
- Marathon - Boston qualifying; USATF certified course MN24023MAB.
- Half marathon - USATF certified course MN24023MAB.
- 10K - one loop of the course.
The course is described as tree lined and looped so the 10K completes one loop, the half marathon two loops, and the marathon four loops. Amenities listed by the organizer include water stops, finish line food, race bibs, finisher medals, and chip timing. Organizers do not hold an expo and offer packet pickup ahead of race day; race day packet pickup is also available.
The series is sanctioned by USATF and follows USATF competition rules for long distance and road events. It is the host site for the Road Runners Club of America 2026 marathon state championship. The event supports Project Purple and has donated more than $25,000 historically; a fundraising option during registration is available and raising $250 waives the entry fee.
