Overview

Miles in the Maize is a fall running event on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Colony Acres in North Liberty, Iowa. The course is off-road and weaves around a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and other seasonal farm scenery. The event includes costume awards and awards for the Maize Mile and for 5K overall and age group finishers. The Maize Mile course turns back toward the start/finish at a marked yellow path on the route map.

Registration fees listed on the entry page: $30 for the 5K, $15 for the Maize Mile, and $40 for the combo entry. Packet pickup is scheduled on the race day at Colony Acres, and an additional pickup is available on November 7 at Fitness Sports in North Liberty (555 Hwy 965 Unit B). Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations completed after October 25. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the Corridor/Eastern Iowa Let Me Run and Girls on the Run programs, and donors can designate which program receives their contribution.
