Miles for Meals 5K Run benefiting Meals on Wheels of Eastland
The ninth annual Miles for Meals event takes place on October 3, 2026 at Siebert Elementary School, 100 Little Maverick Trail, Eastland, Texas. The event benefits Eastland Meals on Wheels and is part of the Eastland Chamber of Commerce Ripfest, a festival that celebrates the city’s horned toad and includes a parade, Bryan’s Car Show, live music, kids games, crafts, and food booths.

- 1K Kids Fun Run
Registration opens March 24, 2026. Entry fees are listed as follows: 5K $25 before September 1, 2026 and $30 after that date; Kids Fun Run $10. Teams of five or more register at $20 per person when registered by September 1, 2026. Only registrations completed by September 1, 2026 will receive a t-shirt. Team registration deadline is Sunday, September 1; all team forms must be received in the same envelope.
Awards and recognitions include medals for 5K age group winners, ribbons for all Kids Fun Run finishers, and special awards for the school and the business with the largest registered team.
