Event Overview

The Village's Sixth Annual Miles for Mamas Walk/Run is a fundraising event supporting new and expecting mothers with limited means. It takes place on September 20, 2026.

Event Format and Distances

Participants can choose to run or walk. The event offers two distances for the in-person Santa Monica location: a 1 mile walk and an unofficial 5k route, which is mapped out.

Participation Options

There are two distinct participation events:

The Village's Sixth Annual Miles for Mamas - Santa Monica, CA: An in-person event.
The Village's Sixth Annual Miles for Mamas-Anywhere You Are!: A virtual event where participants can complete their distance in their own community.

The in-person event starts and ends at the North Beach Playground, located at 810 Palisades Beach Road in Santa Monica, on the west side of Highway 1.

Fundraising

All proceeds from the event go to the cause. Participants are encouraged to set up individual fundraising goals and ask friends and family for sponsorship. Prizes are awarded at the finish line for the top fundraising individuals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
