The Mighty Moraine Fall Multi-Sport Festival
The Mighty Moraine Fall Multi-Sport Festival takes place August 14 and 15, 2027 at Lakeview Beach North Shore, Moraine State Park in Portersville, Pennsylvania. The event hosts the Pennsylvania State Triathlon Championships and runs across two days with multiple multisport race formats.
Day one includes Olympic distance events and an aqua bike. Day two includes sprint distance events, an adventure race, a duathlon, relay options, a novice sprint, and a super sprint. Youth triathlon and duathlon races are also part of the festival; date and time for the youth events will be announced separately. All races are sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
Race distances and formats include:
- Olympic Distance - 51.5K: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40K, Run 10K
- Olympic Relay - 51.5K: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40K, Run 10K
- Olympic Aqua Bike - 41.5K: Swim 1500 m, Bike 40K
- Sprint Triathlon - 25.75K: Swim 750 m, Bike 20K, Run 5K
- Sprint Aqua Bike - 20.75K: Swim 750 m, Bike 20K
- Sprint Adventure Race - 28.2K: Paddle 2 miles, Bike 20K, Run 5K
- Super Sprint - 12.875K: Swim 375 m, Bike 10K, Run 2.5K
- Sprint Duathlon - 27.5K: Run 2.5K, Bike 20K, Run 5K
Youth race distances vary by age group. Age groups and specific swim, bike, and run distances for youth are published for ages 6 and under, 7 to 10, and 11 to 15. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
