Midwinter Marathon Apeldoorn
Midwinter Marathon Apeldoorn is a multi-distance running event in Apeldoorn that publishes results, photos and aftermovies for its editions. The 51st edition concluded with results, photo albums and aftermovies available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Organizers list three charity options for entrants: Longfonds, De Klup and Stichting ALS Nederland.

Some course details are published: the Centraal Beheer Marathon starts at AV'34 and runs over heath and wooded areas. The Hollander Techniek 25 is a certified exact 25 km. The Decathlon 10EM passes through Apeldoorn and Hoog Soeren and reaches its highest point at the Kampsteeg, about 100 meters above NAP. The Acht van Apeldoorn follows a hilly route through the Berg en Bos area over wide roads. The Kidsrun is for children aged 4 to 12 and consists of multiple short races plus a prestatieloop. The Night Run is held on a Friday evening with the start on the Marktplein under the overkapping.
The event offers a mobile app with live tracking on Saturday and Sunday. For the 52nd edition the dates are 5, 6 and 7 February 2027 and registration opens 14 October at 20:00. A safety note from the 51st edition reports that during the 25 km some runners encountered a group of red deer, one of which crossed the course unexpectedly.
