Midwest Championship Adventure Race
The Midwest Championship Adventure Race takes place May 2 to May 3, 2026, at the Warsaw Community Building in Warsaw, Missouri. The event is organized by Off Road Rage Adventures and is the second running of this race. It serves as a regional championship for the United States Adventure Racing Association and as a points race for the Adventure Racing World Series North America. Winners of the Premier Division 3/4 person COED division receive entry to Nationals. This year registration is open to all teams; future entry will use a points based invitation system.
Courses are offered in multiple durations with approximate mileages:
- 2 hour: about 3 to 5 miles on foot; stroller and wheelchair friendly.
- 6 hour: about 25 miles biking, 5 to 7 miles trekking, 3 to 4 miles paddling.
- 24 hour: 50 to 60 miles biking, 12 to 14 miles trekking, 8 to 10 miles paddling.
Maps for all courses are pre plotted on 1:24k scale Caltopo maps. Kayaks are provided for solo entrants and canoes are provided for teams; personal boats may be used if preferred. Personal flotation devices and paddles are included with provided craft. Post race snacks are provided for the 6 hour course and a post race breakfast is provided for the 24 hour course.
