Midnight Moon 5K - Sandy
The Midnight Moon 5K in Sandy is a community 5 kilometer event held in late August. The registration fee includes a race t-shirt; shirt sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last and are not guaranteed for late registrations. Packet pickup is available on Aug. 28 at the Sandy Parks and Recreation office, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., 440 E. 8680 S., Sandy.
The event welcomes all ages and allows walking, jogging, running, or racing. Dogs are not allowed on the race course. Awards are presented to the first three male and female finishers in each age division. A prize drawing for pre-registered participants is held before the race.
Registration closes online on Aug. 28 at 3:30 p.m. Standard registration fees apply, with higher late registration fees and the option for day-of registration at the location up to one hour before the race begins. Family discounts apply for immediate family members when two or more register in the same transaction. Group discounts are available for a minimum of five participants; groups must register together and organizations should create an account representing their business or organization.
