Midnight Moon 5K - Sandy
The Midnight Moon event is a 5K run held on Aug. 28, 2026 in Sandy. Packet pickup is available on Aug. 28 during office hours at 440 E. 8680 S., Sandy; office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration closes online on Aug. 28 at 3:30 p.m., and day of registration is accepted at the event location.
Registration fees are listed by participant type. Regular fees are Individual $35 and Family/Group $30 per participant. Late fees are Individual $40 and Group $35 per participant. The registration fee includes a race shirt; shirt sizes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last and are not guaranteed for late registrations.
The event is open to all ages and allows walking, jogging, running, or racing. Dogs are not allowed on the race course. Immediate family members registering two or more people from the same household qualify for a family discount. A group discount is available to organizations or businesses with a minimum of five participants when registrations are completed together in the same transaction; organizations are asked to register under an account representing the organization.
Awards are given to the first three male and first three female finishers in each age division. A prize drawing is held before the race for pre-registered participants.
Age divisions include: 5 & under, 6 - 9, 10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 79, 80 & up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
