Michael Manning Memorial Dunshaughlin 10k
The Michael Manning Memorial Dunshaughlin 10k Road Race is an annual running event organized by Dunshaughlin AC in County Meath. This competition serves as the fifth race in the PEUGEOT Race Series. Participants collect their race numbers at the designated race headquarters located within the Dunshaughlin Community Centre.
The course follows a specific road route starting on the R125 near the Water Tower. Runners proceed toward the first roundabout, taking the first exit into Dunshaughlin and continuing onto the main street. After passing The Village Grill, the path turns left and maintains a leftward trajectory around the subsequent bend.
The route then takes a right turn back onto the R125 in the direction of Ratoath. At the 5.7 km mark, participants reach a crossroads where they turn right. After approximately 400 meters, the course crosses a small bridge, followed by another right turn signed for Dunshaughlin. The final segment of the race continues straight along this road leading to the finish line.
Upon completion of the race, Dunshaughlin Community Centre hosts the prize giving ceremony along with post-race refreshments for the participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
