Michael 'Chippi' Cawley Memorial Race - Peckville, PA
A memorial running event is scheduled for July 11, 2026 at the Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, 303 Riverside Dr., Peckville, PA. The event includes both a timed run and a community walk.

Registration opens February 6, 2026 at 12:00 and closes July 9, 2026 at 23:59. Published fees are $35 for runners, $30 for walkers, and $35 for day of registrants. Unisex t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 400 pre-registered participants.
There is a packet pick up for pre-registered participants on Friday, July 10 from 2:00 to 6:30 PM at Scranton Running Company, 3 West Olive St., Scranton, PA 18508. Day of registration and packet pick up at the venue will be available on the event day.
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top two males and females in these age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The top overall male and female walkers will also receive awards. The event also features raffles, prizes, and free refreshments.
Proceeds will support programs for people living with epilepsy and the listed beneficiary organizations, including animal rescue groups and a wrestling scholarship fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
