Metung Fun Run
The Metung Fun Run is an annual fundraiser for Metung Primary School, supported by the Lions Club of Metung and powered by The HIIT Factory Bairnsdale. The event brings together community sponsors and supporters to raise funds for the school.
In 2025 more than 400 participants registered, the highest number recorded to date. Timed 5 km and 10 km events produced official results and winners were recorded in 2025. Event photos from recent years have been shared online.

- 1km Kids’ Colour Dash
Key sponsors in 2025 included Metung Hot Springs and Metung Country Club alongside additional sponsors and supporters. Online registrations for the 2026 event were available until 30 December 2025 with earlier entries offered at lower prices. Organisers note that entry is at participants' own risk and that organisers, sponsors and volunteers cannot be held responsible for damage, accident, theft or incident; items left unattended are at the owner’s risk.
