Memorial Day 10K Run & 2 Mile Walk
The Memorial Day 10K Run & 2 Mile Walk takes place in Lynchburg, Virginia at 10 9th Street. The event supports local families living with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and is hosted this year by Community Access Network. Community Access Network will continue support for Type 1 families following the dissolution of Type 1 Diabetes Experience.
The event is part of the 2026 Lynchburg Road Runners Race Series as the seventh race in the series. There are standard and assisted entry options for both distances. Assisted participant options are available for participants riding in an acceptable stroller; a t-shirt can be purchased for an additional fee for assisted entries.

Entry fees and registration windows vary by entry type. Standard registration opens 2025-12-31 and standard entries close 2026-02-28. Assisted participant registration opens 2025-12-31 and remains available through 2026-05-25. Listed registration fees include a $30 fee for the 10K and $25 for the 2 Mile Walk; assisted participant entries are listed with no fee and a t-shirt is available for $15 for assisted entries.
