EDP Lisbon Half Marathon (Meia Maratona de Lisboa)
The EDP Lisbon Half Marathon is a 21 km road race scheduled for 7 March 2027 with a maximum of 20,000 participants and a time limit of 3 hours. The course starts on the Ponte 25 de Abril and finishes at the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos in Lisbon.
The organizer describes the race as one of the fastest half marathons in the world and it is part of the international SuperHalfs series that links six city races. The Sport Expo and kit pickup take place at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa in the Junqueira area. Bibs, technical t-shirts and official bags are available at the kit pickup on 4, 5 and 6 March from 10:00 to 20:00; the race bib includes an electronic timing chip. Dorsals and kits are not issued on race day, but may be collected by a third party presenting the participant's proof of registration.
Access to the start on the bridge is controlled: participants must use Fertagus trains and disembark at Pragal station. Fertagus trains are free for participants who present their bib. Public transport to Fertagus stations (metro, buses, trains) is also free for those travelling to the start. Only properly identified participants with a bib may enter the start area; accompanying persons are not allowed on the bridge. No baggage storage is provided.
