About the race
Megan's Ride and Walk takes place on July 31, 2027 in Westfield, Indiana, and benefits Nine13sports. The event brings together bicycle riders and families for a morning of marked rides and a 5 km walk to celebrate and remember Megan. The event starts from Grand Junction Brewery and runs rain or shine.
Route options include:
- 53 miles marked bike route
- 19 miles marked bike route
- 5 km walk route
Online route maps are provided for the shorter and longer bike options. Registration is offered with a fee of $35; registration opens March 14, 2027 and closes June 29, 2027.
Nine13sports is a nonprofit founded in 2012 that serves the Indianapolis area with youth bicycle programs for K-12 students. Its programs focus on health and wellness, teamwork, safe riding skills, and hands-on applications that teach science, technology, engineering and math principles.
