About the race
The Medio Maratón Valencia Trinidad Alfonso Zurich is an organized half marathon held in València that the organisers describe as the fastest in the world. The race covers the standard half marathon distance, 21.097 m, and the course is presented as especially conducive to fast times.
The next edition is scheduled for 25 October 2026 and the event is organised by S.D. Correcaminos. The race holds several official distinctions, including World Athletics Gold Label status and recognition as the best half marathon in Spain by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo. It is also part of the SuperHalfs series and of the national Circuito Plátano de Canarias.
The event has been the venue for world record performances, including a women’s world record time of 1:02:52 set in 2021; other top all-time marks have also been recorded at this course.
Practical race elements include the Expo 21K Feria Valencia, where participants collect bibs and race bags during the Friday and Saturday before the event. There is an annual solidarity partner that receives voluntary donations during registration and a cheque from the Z Zurich Foundation. The organiser recommends the official travel service Welcome To Valencia for participants who arrive from other cities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
