21st Edition of the Puerto de Veracruz Half Marathon
The 2027 edition of the Puerto de Veracruz Half Marathon marks the 21st year of this athletic competition. Organized by Bike and Run and the Club Deportivo Social y Cultural Casa Homs, A.C., the event is sanctioned by the Mexican Federation of Athletics Associations. The race takes place in Boca del Río, Veracruz, and features a single competitive distance:
- 21.097 km (Half Marathon)
The event includes multiple participation categories for both men and women. All participants who complete the full designated route are eligible to receive a commemorative finisher medal.
The organizers provide cash prizes for the top three absolute winners in both the male and female branches. Additional cash incentives are awarded to the top three finishers in each specific age category. Special recognition is also given to the first-place Mexican nationals and the first-place Veracruz residents in both branches. Winners must be present at the awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place at the Athletics track of the Faculty of Physical Education at the Universidad Veracruzana. Participants must present an official photo ID to claim any prize.
