Run McLaren Vale - overview
Run McLaren Vale is a road running event organised by Great Southern Runs in McLaren Vale. The event ran for four editions and previously included a marathon distance. Organisers withdrew the marathon distance at one point to reduce road closures from six hours to three hours.
2026 cancellation
The 2026 edition of Run McLaren Vale has been cancelled. The City of Onkaparinga did not support the proposed course layouts and traffic management plans for 2026, and organisers decided not to proceed without local approval for those plans.
